Texas Tech University | Student Union Building

This expansion of Texas Tech’s University Center includes an 80,000 square foot addition that contains a Barnes & Noble bookstore, a computer store, student government offices, administrative offices, a computer lab, and multiple gathering spaces. The space also contains game rooms and a theater. The project also includes the complete demolition and renovation of over 80,000 square feet of existing building. The renovated space includes a food court with retail space for restaurants and other various shops. Lee Lewis Construction’s final GMP for this project came in at $2,000,000 under the architect’s final estimate.
