Texas Tech University | English and Philosophy Building
This complex contains over 210,000-SF of classrooms, offices, lecture halls and study spaces for the Department of English, Department of Philosophy and the College of Education. The complex consists of two “horseshoe” shaped steel frame structures that surround a courtyard with detailed landscaping with a large fountain in the center providing a focal point for the complex. The brick veneer façade, cut stone, cast stone and clay tile roof combined with a 139 foot tall bell tower blends the buildings into the Spanish Renaissance architectural style that is carried throughout the campus.
