The Commons Renovation includes both exterior and interior renovation. The exterior renovations include new roof materials and sub structure; clean the existing exterior limestone veneer; new energy efficient windows; and, ADA accessible entry. The interior renovations include upgrades to the air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing systems; upgrades to all Life Safety systems and security; building accessible interior spaces to be in compliance with ADA recommendations; and, the complete refurbishing of all interior spaces with new floor covering, paint, doors and building signage.

The existing Commons Dining Hall will be refurbished; new furniture, fixtures, and equipment will be installed; and, the kitchen and food serving stations will be modernized (Chartwell’s Food Service Contract).
