Town of Highland Park | DPS and Town Hall

The entire town considers this historic building a gem for the community. The project adds 15,000 square feet to the conjoined Town Hall and public safety buildings, including a third floor and a basement for additional office space and technology upgrades. It is the Town’s biggest construction project since 2007. The new plan takes a long-range approach without expanding the building’s footprint. The new Town Hall reflects the current Spanish Colonial design and maintain its elegance and branding. To recapture the Spanish look, the inside of the building has vaulted ceilings, exposed beam work and an open tower that lets in natural light. The exterior will have a number of balconies. The renovation enhances the plaza while keeping with the overall building design.
