Covenant Hospital | Covenant ER, Surgery, Radiology & Other Projects

The Covenant Health Systems Surgery, Emergency Services and Radiology Addition and Renovation consisted of 45,800-SF of new construction for the expansion of surgery and emergency room operations. The project scope also included 81,600-SF of existing surgery, laboratory and radiology suite renovations. The new 45-bed emergency room addition features an Urgent Care Center with 10 treatment and exam rooms and a four-room Trauma Center. Separate nursing units are provided for each area. Lee Lewis Construction, Inc. constructed this project on an existing healthcare campus adjacent to patient treatment areas that remained operational 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. This facility enhances the patient experience with convenience, availability of a 24-hour a day medical team, and newly renovated spaces.
