City of Southlake | DPS Headquarters

City of Southlake DPS Headquarters was awarded the 2010 TEXO Distinguished Building Award for its unusual design and construction techniques, special obstacles, personnel management, quality control, scheduling, and project safety. The project was awarded 2 other awards as well: Fire Chiefs Golden Station Style, and Golden Trowel 1st Place United Masonry Contractors Association. The City of Southlake Department of Public Safety building houses the Police department, sleeping quarters, a crime lab, holding facility, and a municipal courts area. Also included in this project is a pre-cast parking garage. The project also houses a fire house with apparatus bay, and the Emergency Operations Center for the City of Southlake.
